It was a way to unite our country Coast To Coast, (Hence Our Company name...Coast to Coast Worldwide Telegrams & Money Transfers) with a same day message & money transfer service. The first messages & money transfers were sent over the wire service with a telegraphic sending key, then it became popular to cut and paste messages sent over a ticker tape machine. This was followed by teletype equipment that was popular in the 30's, 40's, & 50's and Today as in 1840 we still use a wire service for same day messages & money transfers delivered domestically & internationally.

Today, telegrams are still recognized as the fastest, most reliable, & the premier way of communication.
